This clinic is for those who are already lead certified at CityROCK and want more confidence catching and taking lead falls in the gym.  During the clinic, you’ll receive hands on coaching and lots of practice falling and giving soft catches.  You will learn proper belay stances, as well as how to maintain the appropriate amount of slack for different situations and gain confidence giving soft catches. Practice falls and catches will take place at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th clips. This clinic will help you overcome areas of nervousness such as specific wall angles or clipping stances. The clinic also covers rope management, personal risk assessment and mitigation practices while on the wall.   Please contact Matt Jones with questions.
