Garden of the Gods

We'll help you discover a beauty of the Garden not seen from the ground by climbing on some of the best sandstone cliffs and spires the Garden has to offer. We may send you up Montezuma's Tower, a two pitch 5.7 that follows the body thin ridge to the top of one of the most photographed spires in the park, or take you up New Era, a three pitch 5.7 that follows a wonderful crack to the top of Cathedral Rock. Whatever climbs you do, you're sure to be on a classic!

Prerequisites: None.

Cheyenne Cañon

Holding the best granite right in Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Cañon is full of adventure. During this trip we'll tackle some of the best climbs in the local park, ranging from working your way up several pitches on a pinnacle to testing your skills on delicate slabs that will certainly keep you on your toes.

Prerequisites: None.

Red Rock Canyon

The red sandstone climbing of Red Rocks is similar to the Garden of the the Gods, but with anchors well below the cliff tops to prevent rock fall. With a variety of over 85 routes to climb and a wide range in difficulty, Red Rock Canyon is one of the largest parks in the Pikes Peak region and holds a rich geologic history.

Castlewood Canyon

25 Million year old conglomerate rock lines the east and west rims of Castlewood Canyon and presents climbers with an interesting and fun challenge. Excellent diversity of routes ranging from 20'-50' high and relatively unknown status make this one of Colorado's best kept secrets. (Courtesy of www.rockclimbing.com)
